FA099 Very nice Model 1841 U.S. Percussion Rifle, a.k.a...The "Mississippi" Rifle. High grade example made by George W. Tyron, Philadelphia of the "TYRON" company. There were only around 5000 of these being produced. Full 33" barrel with the bore being .58 cal. All golden brown aged patina from end to end. The wood as well is in mint condition with no dings. Both sling swivels are present. Two Military cartouches with inspector marks as shown. Lock plate marked: "TYRON" over "US" forward of the hammer with Philadelphia PA 1844 behind the hammer. The action works great in all positions. You may encounter many "Mississippi" Rifles but only a few will be the "TYRON" contractor. I think this one would be difficult to upgrade on. SOLD

This beauty was recovered in 1982 by Phillip Moore at the Francis Crawford Armstrong Cavalry Camp in Saltillo, Miss. Phillip has recovered many great pieces of history during his long time Relic hunting hobby in our area. Francis Armstrong was a United States Army cavalry officer and later bacame a Brigadier General in the Confereate States Army during the Civil War. He is also known for being the only Confederate General to fight on both the South and North sides. This Spur is 100% original with absolutely no repairs guaranteed. $3250.00
ME471 Extra nice and quite rare excavated Silver Texas Hatpin. This looks to be jeweler made because of the fancy letters with the small Star around the center attachment pin hole. This pin must have saw plenty of service due to the sharp edges being slightly folded on the tips to prevent the Soldier from getting pricked by them. This Star Pin is larger in size than the ones I have seen previously. This beauty was recovered from Dallas, GA. More than likely lost by a member of General "Sul" Ross's Texas Cavalry Brigade.
